How it works
It's easy to work with me online and all your lessons can be watched again and again. After you have read this page, if you have any questions, just get in contact and I'll be delighted to answer them for you.
Lessons
All lessons are carried out online via Zoom. Students need a device with a webcam. I recommend a desktop or laptop computer, but a tablet will also work at a push. I don't allow students to take lessons from mobile phones. Ideally, students will be on a wireless connection too rather than a mobile connection.
Unless you request otherwise all lessons are recorded. The recorded lessons are stored on my e-learning platform along with any resources referred to or used in that lesson.
Students and parents have a private login to their lessons (which can't be seen by anyone else) so they can go in and access the lessons/resources anytime they want. These lessons remain available throughout the time that you are a student with me and are removed afterwards (usually within a month or so). If you want continued access in the future that can be discussed.

Payments
For UK based students, all payments are done by Direct Debit using GoCardless. It's a nice effective way to sort out any fees and it saves you from having to remember to pay an upcoming invoice - it's all done for you!
I don't take cheques, cash or card payments. This means that when a lesson is booked I invoice the person paying and email it across then set up a direct debit payment to get the payment. Direct debit payments can be one-off or can be setup as ongoing payments, depending on how any given student / their parents wish to pay. No direct debits will ever be taken unless you have received an invoice first.
If someone books a lesson on very short notice, I will take a BACS payment, but still need them to sign up as a customer on my GoCardless for any future payments thereafter.
